HoverRace Test Environment
Currently, the HoverRace test environment is a bit of a wreck. It generally consists of builds of unknown revisions being passed to random people at random times resulting in nobody knowing quite what version they have or what bugs they should be looking for or expecting to find.
Hopefully, ticket #52 will entail a number of changes that make this process much easier.
It is advisable to keep your test build separate from any other installed versions of the game.
The best way to test the game is to just play it! And in the process you might even manage to rack up some PHRA points and trophies that you can, uh, print and frame on your wall.
I found a bug! What do I do?
If you can reliably reproduce the bug, and find that other people might be experiencing the same problems (but not necessarily, it could be specific to your setup), feel free to file a new ticket. Make sure to include all possibly relevant information. If the bug is a crash (and you are running a Debug version of the build), and you get a dialog at the crash that gives a .cpp filename and a line number, make sure to include the information from that too.
