Description

Currently, switching to fullscreen always uses the primary monitor. On my system, I'd prefer fullscreen to be on my second monitor so I can still debug while fullscreened.

Maybe in another version the monitors can be used for a wider view, or have the second for alternative purposes, like.. the map... and scores/times... maybe a rear view.

I would help work on this, except my multi-monitor setup is dead and it may be weeks before it is fixed or replaced...

I could possibly see this feature request creating a whole large configurable almost 'window manager' which can be used to tell the game where to draw the map, where to draw the player's screen, etc.. May be overkill.

I really like the idea of assigning additional monitors to display stuff like the map, leaderboard, etc. Supreme Commander and a number of DS games pull this off quite well, although for a fast-paced racing game like HR we'll need to have a good long think about how to make it useful.

[477] completes the bulk of this functionality. I can now hit F9 and the client will switch my second monitor to 800x600x8bpp while leaving my primary monitor unscathed, so I can keep on watching the debug messages :)

All that's left is to add the "Test Fullscreen" stuff back in.

I'll create a new ticket for the "window manager" feature, for 2.0.

[724] completes the major functionality for the fullscreen test.

#157 is a new ticket for the unresolved crash when using Remote Desktop.
